Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in signing Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, according to the player's agent.
The 22-year-old Turkey international scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in his debut campaign with Leverkusen in 2014 and added a further eight goals and 11 assists last season.
Bektas Demirtas, Calhanoglu's agent, confirmed to German publication Express on Wednesday: "It is true that Tottenham have registered their interest with me."
Calhanoglu, who still has three years left on his current deal at the BayArena, represented his country at Euro 2016 this summer.
