Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a bid for Villarreal striker Cedric Bakambu in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old has been in fine form for the La Liga outfit this term, scoring 15 league goals to help his side up to sixth in the table.
According to AS, the DR Congo star's performances have caught the eye of Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, who has had scouts watching him in action this term.
The newspaper claims that the London side are now considering making an offer for the player, who agreed to a €50m (£44.4m) release clause when he penned a new five-year deal with the club in July.
West Ham United have previously shown interest in Bakambu and are said to have failed with a €30m (£26.7m) bid over the summer.
