Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Atlanta United playmaker Miguel Almiron as a potential January signing.
Dele Alli and Harry Kane have both been ruled out with injury until at least the start of March, and it has left Mauricio Pochettino to contemplate entering the transfer market before the end of the month.
According to Ole, Spurs could make a move for Almiron with the Paraguay international available for a fee in the region of £23m.
Newcastle United have been heavily linked with the 24-year-old, who contributed 13 goals and 11 assists in the MLS during the most recent campaign.
However, the Magpies may opt against paying the required fee, which could leave Spurs in a position where they can win the race for the player.
