Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly mulling over a summer swoop for Southampton goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
Spurs have identified the 28-year-old as potential backup for first-choice stopper Hugo Lloris, according to The Mirror.
The North London outfit could be seeking a new secondary goalkeeper this summer, with Michel Vorm approaching the end of his contract and several clubs rumoured to be ready to make him an offer.
McCarthy, who has one year remaining on his Saints contract, ousted Fraser Forster as Southampton's main goalkeeper last season and played a major role in the club's Premier League survival.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, Arsenal and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the player.
