Tottenham Hotspur reportedly remain interested in securing the signature of AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek.
With Harry Kane out with a hamstring injury until at least April, Jose Mourinho is eager to bring in a replacement for the England international.
While the North London outfit have been heavily linked with Piatek, it has been suggested that the two clubs remain far apart regarding the terms of any deal.
However, according to Calciomercato, Spurs are ready to make another approach for the 24-year-old in the coming days.
The report suggests that the next offer will be closer to Milan's valuation, said to be in the region of £25m.
As it stands, the Italian outfit are only prepared to entertain any permanent bids for the frontman.
