Tottenham Hotspur have allegedly made an official offer for Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.
Spurs have already broken their club record to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, while the Premier League side are said to remain keen on Real Betis playmaker Giovani Lo Celso.
However, Zaniolo, who emerged as one of European football's top prospects last season, is also on the radar of the North Londoners.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Spurs have indicated that they are willing to spend around £16m on the 20-year-old, as well as offering Toby Alderweireld in part-exchange.
The Belgian currently has a £25m release clause, meaning that the total proposal would be worth £41m, a fee significantly below Roma's valuation of Zaniolo.
The playmaker contributed four goals and two assists from 27 Serie A outings during the most recent campaign.
