Newcastle United are reportedly in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a proposed extension to Danny Rose's loan deal.
The left-back arrived at St James' Park on an initial six-month basis in January, and Rose made five Premier League appearances for Steve Bruce's side before the coronavirus-enforced shutdown.
Rose's temporary stay in Newcastle is set to come to an end later this month, but with the Premier League set to resume on June 17, talks are allegedly underway regarding an extension.
According to Sky Sports News, the 30-year-old is hopeful of staying on at Newcastle until the conclusion of the current Premier League campaign.
Rose will see his current contract at Spurs expire in the summer of 2021, and the defender has amassed 214 appearances for the North London outfit since his debut in 2010.
