Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are reportedly monitoring Espanyol midfielder Javi Marquez.
The Spaniard has rejected a new deal at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat, which could see him make the move to England.
Marquez, whose has been absent for large parts of this season through injury, is also said to be attracting interest from Atletico Madrid.
Espanyol could be tempted to sell the 25-year-old, otherwise they risk losing him for nothing when his contract expires at the end of next season.
The 25-year-old came through the youth ranks at Espanyol, making his debut for the club in 2009.
