Tottenham Hotspur managing director of football Fabio Paratici has reportedly touched base with Juventus over a swap deal involving Tanguy Ndombele and Weston McKennie.
Ndombele is yet to play a single minute of competitive or non-competitive action for Spurs under Nuno Espirito Santo and is supposedly open to a departure before the current transfer window closes.
Furthermore, with Moussa Sissoko also being linked with a move away from North London this summer, Spurs could attempt to bolster their midfield ranks during the final week of August.
According to Tuttosport, Paratici has now touched base with his former club Juventus to discuss a possible swap deal with McKennie, but the Old Lady still harbour doubts over such a proposal.
McKennie officially joined Juventus on a permanent basis earlier in the summer and made 46 appearances across all competitions on loan during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring six goals and setting up three more.
The 22-year-old's deal in Turin is not due to expire until 2025, while Ndombele also still has four years left to run on his deal with Spurs. body check tags ::
