Tottenham Hotspur are said to be planning to move for Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland.
The 19-year-old, who was named in Stuart Pearce's 18-man Team GB football squad on Monday, had previously been the subject of a rejected £6m bid from Southampton.
Spurs' current favoured goalkeeping duo - Brad Friedel and Carlo Cudicini - have a combined age of 79 and new manager Andre Villas-Boas reportedly wants to bring Butland to White Hart Lane as part of his long-term plan.
Villas-Boas wants to complete a deal to sign Butland before the Olympic football tournament begins on July 26, according to The Mirror.
Butland made 24 League Two appearances during two loan spells at Cheltenham Town last season.
