CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia is reportedly a January transfer target of Tottenham Hotspur.
Aside from youngster Harry Kane, the North Londoners have found goals hard to come by from their centre-forwards so far this season.
As a result, manager Mauricio Pochettino is eager to bolster his attacking options this winter, which has brought about his interest in Doumbia, according to the London Evening Standard.
The report adds that while the 26-year-old's wage demands would not prove to be an obstacle for Spurs, they would not be prepared to pay the £25m release clause that is said to have been inserted in the Ivorian's contract.
However, Doumbia's deal with the Russian club is due to expire in 2016, which Spurs are thought to view as a factor that improves their bargaining position in any potential negotiations.
Doumbia, who joined CSKA from Young Boys in 2010, has scored 10 goals in 19 outings this term.
