Tottenham Hotspur have slapped a price tag of £300m on star striker Harry Kane, according to a report.
The 24-year-old is believed to be on the radar of Real Madrid, with Mauricio Pochettino admitting that Spurs could be powerless to keep their talisman should he ask to leave the club in the summer.
Kane, who has four-and-a-half years left on his contract, is said to be in line for a significant pay rise at Tottenham, but Real are allegedly eager to make the England international their new main target man.
According to The Mirror, Los Blancos have been quoted the astronomical sum, which would eclipse the world transfer record, if they want to be in with a shout of recruiting Kane.
Kane has won the Premier League Golden Boot two years running and, with 18 goals notched up so far this season, is in pole position to clinch the award for the third time in a row.
