Tottenham Hotspur have firmed up their interest in Sevilla's Carlos Bacca by reportedly sending scouts to watch the Colombian in action.
According to The People, Spurs head of recruitment Paul Mitchell flew to Germany to watch Bacca in Europa League action against Borussia Monchengladbach on Thursday.
It is thought that the North London club are in the market for a forward that can push them into the Champions League.
Bacca is believed to have a £18m release clause in his contract with the Andalusian outfit.
However, manager Mauricio Pochettino may face a challenge to convince Daniel Levy to spend on the striker, who is 29 and is unlikely to offer resale value.
