Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly still chasing the signature of Croatian starlet Alen Halilovic, despite being knocked back on more than one occasion by the teenager's father.
Halilovic came close to joining Spurs last summer, but the North London outfit and rival suitors Roma were both frustrated in their attempts to land the Dinamo Zagreb playmaker.
The 17-year-old's contract at Dinamo expires at the end of the season, with Zagreb willing to talk terms over a move in the January transfer window.
Spurs are back in negotiations but have so far failed to satisfy the wishes of the youngster's dad and representative Sejad Halilovic, according to The Express.
Halilovic senior wants guarantees from Spurs over his son's first-team opportunities at White Hart Lane, with the midfielder already a full international for Croatia after making his debut in March.
