Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly set to offer Raheem Sterling a new contract after Euro 2020.
The 26-year-old, who has scored three goals for England during this summer's tournament, has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, with both Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur believed to be interested.
However, according to The Athletic, Sterling will have a short holiday once his time with the Three Lions comes to an end this summer, before he returns to Manchester to sit down with City's hierarchy for talks over his contract.
The report also states, though, that an exit for the forward could still be possible if he wishes to leave the club or a significant offer from another club is received.
Pep Guardiola is understood to want Sterling to remain at City beyond this summer, however his exit could help pave the way for England teammates Harry Kane and Jack Grealish to join the club.
Since joining from Liverpool in July 2015, Sterling has scored 114 goals in 292 appearances for City, winning three Premier League titles, five EFL Cups and one FA Cup. body check tags ::
