Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have no interest in signing Pierluigi Gollini, contrary to recent speculation.
Spurs were rumoured to have identified the Atalanta BC goalkeeper as a possible replacement for Hugo Lloris, having scouted him throughout the 2019-20 campaign so far.
However, The Mirror claims that those reports are false and that Tottenham have no interest in signing the 25-year-old this summer.
Gollini spent time at the Manchester United academy earlier in his career and returned to English football for a season with Aston Villa in 2016-17.
Since leaving Villa Park the shot-stopper has helped Atalanta into the Champions League and earned a maiden call-up to the Italy squad, making his debut for the Azzurri last year.
One of Tottenham's back-up goalkeepers Michel Vorm is due to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this season, but manager Jose Mourinho is not viewing Gollini as a transfer target to increase depth or challenge Lloris for the number one spot.
