Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The 34-year-old has been a regular for the Italian champions during the 2021-22 campaign, making 24 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals and four assists in the process.
Vidal's contract at San Siro is due to expire at the end of June, though, and it is believed that the experienced midfielder is keen to seek pastures new at this stage of his career.
According to Le Terecera, Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is determined to bring the Chilean to North London and will be backed by the club's board in his quest.
The report claims that Spurs have already made contact with Vidal's representatives to register an interest in the South American, although Inter have the option of extending his contract for a further 12 months.
The midfielder has previously played under Conte at Juventus and Inter, while Tottenham are believed to be long-term admirers of his talents.
