Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to make an opening offer to Southampton for midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The Saints are looking to cash in on skipper Hojbjerg this summer after failing to agree terms on a new contract, which is due to expire next year.
Spurs and Everton are rumoured to be keen on striking a deal with Southampton, but the South Coast club are supposedly holding out for around £35m.
According to the Daily Star, Tottenham are now about to step forward with a first bid for Hojbjerg, who has spent four years with Southampton since joining from Bayern Munich.
Speaking last month, the Denmark international offered a clear hint that he is looking to move away from St Mary's Stadium at the end of the campaign.
