Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to hold further talks with Leeds United to discuss a potential deal for Daniel James.
The Wales international joined Leeds from Manchester United last summer, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 34 appearances in the 2021-22 campaign.
A recent report indicated that Spurs were in talks to sign the 24-year-old, who is also attracting interest from Fulham and Everton.
According to the Evening Standard, further discussions are taking place between the two clubs today to try to agree a deal before the transfer deadline.
Jesse Marsch is believed to be open to a departure for James, who has started two of Leeds' five competitive games this season.
Tottenham are looking to bring James into the club to replace Bryan Gil, who will be allowed to leave if they can find a replacement.
However, a deal between Tottenham and Leeds could prove difficult, with the Yorkshire side favouring a permanent transfer, while Spurs would prefer a loan move.
