Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a swoop for Werder Bremen forward Max Kruse.
The 31-year-old has scored eight times and registered eight assists in 26 appearances for Bremen this season, but his contract with the German side will expire at the end of the campaign.
According to Sky in Germany, Tottenham could move for the 14-time Germany international as they seek a back-up to Harry Kane, with Fernando Llorente widely expected to depart this summer.
Kruse, who joined Bremen from Wolfsburg in 2016, has found the back of the net on 32 occasions in 86 appearances in all competitions for his current club.
The centre-forward is currently free to talk to clubs outside of Germany with the view to signing a pre-contract, although he could yet sign a new deal at the Weserstadion.
