Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly facing the possibility of missing out on a deal for Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.
Spurs have been strongly linked with a move for the 19-year-old since the end of the 2018-19 campaign, where the teenager made 35 Premier League appearances for the Cottagers.
According to The Mirror, Tottenham want to wait until the last minute to push for a deal as they are looking to sell Danny Rose first.
The report, though, claims that Fulham now expect to keep hold of the England Under-21 international, whose contract at Craven Cottage will expire at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
Fulham will open their Championship season against Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.
Sessegnon, however, will not be involved for Scott Parker's side on the opening weekend as the youngster is currently nursing a hamstring problem.
