Nikola Milenkovic is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract with Fiorentina.
The 23-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United both believed to be interested in his services.
The Serbian enjoyed a strong 2020-21 campaign for his Italian club, making 37 appearances in all competitions, and he appeared to be available for a cut-price fee this summer, with his deal due to expire next year.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the defender is preparing to accept a new contract with La Viola until June 2024.
West Ham are believed to have seen talks with Milenkovic break down over personal terms, while Tottenham appear to now be focusing on Bologna's Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Both Premier League clubs are still thought to be interested in signing new central defenders before this summer's transfer window closes for business.
