Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks has reportedly agreed to join Sampdoria.
The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Spurs following the signings of Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma.
With the Englishman not part of Antonio Conte's plans, he has been expected to leave the club before the transfer window, although a recent report suggested that he wanted to join another Premier League club.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Winks has changed his stance and is now set to join Serie A club Sampdoria.
Winks has agreed to sign for Sampdoria on loan, with the deal expected to be completed in the next few days before the player flies out to Italy.
The midfielder joins a club who held Juventus to a 0-0 draw on Monday, and are looking to clinch their first win of the season against Salernitana at the weekend. body check tags ::
