Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend has reportedly turned down the chance to join Queens Park Rangers at the last minute.
The 21-year-old was expected to sign for the West London outfit, who are thought to be closing in on the signings of Christopher Samba, David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas.
It is understood that while Townsend was thought to be on his way to Loftus Road, the club have claimed that they will not be signing Townsend on a loan or permanent deal, according to Sky Sports News.
Townsend has dropped down the rankings at White Hart Lane.
