Jan Vertonghen has hinted on social media that he could be set to sign a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Belgian centre-back will be a free agent at the end of this season if he does not sign fresh terms.
Vertonghen was left out of Spurs' first three Premier League games, but played the full 90 in the last two fixtures against Arsenal and Crystal Palace.
However, football.london report that the 32-year-old 'liked' a Twitter post asking if he would be signing a new contract.
Mauricio Pochettino also has the contract situations of Vertonghen's centre-back partner and international compatriot Toby Alderweireld and Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen to deal with.
Daniel Levy, in particular, will be keen to avoid losing three of his prized assets for nothing, and will likely look to tie the trio down to new deals or sell them in the January transfer window.
