Aston Villa are poised to fine striker Christian Benteke if he doesn't turn up for training on Thursday, according to a report.
The Belgium international handed in a transfer request last week after being linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Paul Lambert is now ready to fine the 22-year-old if he fails to show up for the club's first training session since their pre-season tour of Germany, reports The Mirror.
Benteke missed Villa's tour of Germany after he was omitted from the squad.
