West Ham United will reportedly make a fresh bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Hammers were heavily linked with a January swoop for the Togo international, but Spurs are thought to have vetoed the move at the 11th hour as East London club were a direct competitors for a Champions League place.
However, The Mirror claims that West Ham's slide down the Premier League table in recent weeks has led to the Tottenham board becoming more relaxed about Adebayor moving to their local rivals.
The ex-Arsenal and Manchester City forward, whose contract is set to expire at the end of next season, is said to be keen to remain in the capital.
West Ham are also understood to be looking for Spurs to subsidise some of the player's £100,000-a-week salary in order for a possible loan move to go ahead.
