West Ham United have confirmed that they are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur regarding the sale of Scott Parker.
The England international has been continually linked with a move away from Upton Park since the Hammers were relegated to the Championship at the end of last season.
Queens Park Rangers had a £4m offer turned down for the 30-year-old last week, while Aston Villa and Chelsea have reportedly made enquiries about the player.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has made no secret of his admiration for Parker in recent months and it now appears that he may land his target.
Redknapp completed two signings yesterday, adding Emmanuel Adebayor and Iago Falque to his squad.
