Stevenage have confirmed the signing of former Luton Town defender Fraser Franks.

The 24-year-old, who was released by the Hatters earlier this week, made 30 appearances for Luton during an 18-month spell at Kenilworth Road.

"I am really pleased to get it all sorted," he told Stevenage's official website. "It is a new challenge for me and chance to prove myself and I am really looking forward to getting going."

Franks could make his debut for the League Two side tonight when they host Nottingham Forest in a friendly.
