Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has admitted that he cannot wait to work alongside new manager Michael Laudrup.
The Danish boss has been appointed to the Liberty Stadium helm following Brendan Rodgers's decision to take charge of Liverpool three weeks ago.
Rather than being disappointed about losing Rodgers, Britton has revealed that the squad are eager to prove themselves to their new coach.
"We can't wait to get back on the training ground now so that we can see what the new manager's methods are and how he wants to do things," he told the Evening Post.
"It's a clean slate for everyone. We all have to prove ourselves all over again to the new manager and we'll all look forward to doing that."
Laudrup is expected to meet his squad at the start of pre-season training next month.
