Three Swedish players who could move to the Premier League this summer

:Headline: Three Swedish players who could move to the Premier League this summer:
With Premier League clubs likely to look for value for money this summer, which Swedish players could move to England's top flight?
Sports Mole

On a week where Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been restored to the national squad at the age of 39, Swedish football finds itself at somewhat of a crossroads with regards to talent. The country's top sporting icon wants one last go at winning a trophy on the international stage, but it will take far more than the forward to inspire the Scandinavian nation to glory at Euro 2020. Nevertheless, clubs in the Premier League will have one eye on the development of this squad at a time when they will be eyeing a bargain ahead of the summer transfer window. With value for money taking priority over high-profile figures, which young Swedes could make the move to England later in the year?

Just like details can be found by searching for casino BankID, clubs will feel that they can benefit from securing the signature of Jesper Karlsson. The versatile attacker has enjoyed an outstanding first campaign at AZ Alkmaar, contributing eight goals and seven assists from just 24 outings in the Dutch top flight. Despite being limited to two caps with the senior squad, the 22-year-old has the qualities to become a star man for his country, and some English clubs will undoubtedly be considering an approach for the player. Although AZ remain in a strong position with four years remaining on Karlsson's contract, they may have to consider cashing in on one of their star men if they do not achieve a return to the Champions League.

Premier League clubs may feel that they have more chance of signing Jens Cajuste from FC Midtjylland. Like Karlsson, the 21-year-old has earned just two senior caps for Sweden, but he is competing for regular opportunities in his nation's midfield. The defensive-minded midfielder has emerged as an important player at Midtjylland, and there is a feeling that he can only benefit from the four appearances that he made in the Champions League group stages earlier this season. As well as scoring in the home defeat to Ajax, Cajeste played the full 90 minutes as the Danes earned a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on matchday six. Even though that fixture was a dead-rubber, Cajeste took his chance to impress, so do not be surprised if he is signed by a lower-end Premier League club or top-end Championship side in the summer.

Just under five months older than Cajeste, Mattias Svanberg is already earning big-match experience on a weekly basis with Bologna. The central midfielder has contributed three goals and two assists from 24 outings in Serie A, his most recent performance being a match-winning one as his side got the better of Sampdoria on March 14. Despite sometimes finding himself in and out of the starting lineup, Svanberg has regained his spot when required, and he has reached a stage of his career where he may be open to a new challenge after three years in Italy. Unless they are able to extend his contract past the end of the 2022-23 campaign, Bologna may be open to cashing in on Svanberg if he makes an impression at Euro 2020.
