Sweden coach Erik Hamren has refused to discuss his future following the team's failure to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
The Swedes slumped to a 4-2 aggregate defeat in their playoff tie against Portugal on Tuesday as they lost 3-2 in Stockholm.
Hamren's current contract is due to expire at the end of the year, but the 56-year-old is unsure whether it will be extended.
"Today it's too early to talk about [my future], I'm just too disappointed," he told Reuters.
"I just want to go to bed and stay there. But we'll have that discussion in a short while. It's a fantastic job, but we'll see."
Hamren took charge of the Swedish national team in 2009.
