Eoin Doyle has reportedly been left out of the Bradford City squad for their League Two clash with Cheltenham Town tonight amid rumours that the striker is set for a return to Swindon Town.
The 31-year-old was in red hot form while on loan at Swindon in the first half of the campaign, scoring 23 goals in 24 games for Richie Wellens's side.
Bradford went on to recall Doyle earlier this month, much to the disappointment of the Robins and the player himself.
According to the Telegraph and Argus, Swindon have now prepared an offer to sign Doyle on a permanent deal this month, with Bradford likely to accept given that the Irishman is out of contract at the end of the season.
With a deal now imminent, BBC Wiltshire says that Doyle has now been dropped for tonight's game.
