Swindon Town striker Michael Smith has played down speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
The 23-year-old was left out of the team's opening two matches of the season after Barnsley failed with a bid for his services.
However, Newcastle-born Smith is expected to return to the side tonight when they host Port Vale.
"It's football, it comes with the territory," he told BBC Sport. "You get linked with everyone. It doesn't bother me - I just get on with my job.
"I'm still a Swindon player, and that is who I want to play for at the minute. Maybe in three or four years a move up North might be an option, but at the minute I'm happy playing for Swindon. I'm loving my football."
Smith joined Swindon from Charlton Athletic in January 2014 for an initial fee of £100,000.
