Toulouse coach Alain Casanova has highlighted his side's lack of intent as one of the reasons behind their tame 2-0 defeat at home to Monaco
Leonardo Jardim's side were able to run away with victory at the Stadium Municipal thanks to a brace from Dimitar Berbatov, with Casanova also singling out his side's lack of physicality on the pitch during the loss.
"We were poor in the first half and didn't get into the game with the right intentions," Casanova told reporters after the game, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"The intentions were different in the second half, although we still had trouble winning the ball back. We had trouble getting our game going and they were much better than us. We were well back from them physically."
The defeat now sees Toulouse sitting in 11th position in the Ligue 1 table.
