Micky Adams is to be named as the new manager of Tranmere Rovers in the next 24 hours, according to reports.
Rovers have been looking for a new man to take charge of the club following the dismissal of Rob Edwards earlier this week.
Sky Sports News claims that the short wait is now over, with former Port Vale boss Adams the overwhelming favourite to take over the hotseat at Prenton Park.
Tranmere have been unable to turn around their fortunes following last season's relegation, currently sitting bottom of League Two.
