Morning all. Well, after weeks and weeks of speculation and plenty of money changing hands, just two days remain of the transfer window. No doubt Monday, as The Bangles predicted, will be manic, but today could also be a busy one. Here, we will have everything you need to know where the transfer window is concerned covered.
Right, let's get underway with Liverpool, who have a wealth of options at centre-back, so much so that it's expected that one will depart soon. According to Danish club Brondby, they are currently
in talks with the Reds to re-sign Daniel Agger. No offence to Brondby, but you would imagine that at the age of 29 and with plenty of football ahead of him, Agger will have set his sights a little higher. We shall see.
BREAKING! There are big rumours floating around that Ajax have granted Daley Blind permission to discuss terms with an interested club, which is believed to be Manchester United.
Here is a bit more
detail on United's pursuit of Blind, who is expected to arrive in Manchester later today.
BREAKING! And now United have confirmed the speculation:
What has happened to transfer fees this summer?! The prices have risen dramatically, so much so that a number of reports have claimed that Leicester City have
bid £8m for Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick. No disrespect to McGoldrick, but £8m, really?!
Back to United and Blind - it would seem that Paul Scholes is not overly excited by the prospect of the Dutch international's arrival. To find out what the club legend has had to say of the signing,

And that is my stint done for today. Coming up now is Sian Cowper, who will be taking you through the next few hours. Over to you, Sian.
Thanks Liam. Let's start with news of a departure from Anfield. Liverpool have confirmed that defender Daniel Agger is

pleased to have completed the signing of Douglas from Brazilian side Sao Paulo this summer.
Sticking with Spain, Espanyol have announced that they have
agreed to sell David Lopez to Napoli.
It's been a busy couple of days with players coming and going at Queens Park Rangers, and the Premier League side have announced another

Sheffield Wednesday have all by completed a deal to sign free agent Claude Dielna. The versatile Frenchman was released by Olympiacos at the end of last season, and should he receive international clearance, he will join the Owls' ranks.
Sticking with the Championship, Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has
confirmed that Leicester City have made a bid for David McGoldrick. The deal is said to be in the region of £8m, and the Tractor Boys boss admits he may be unable to keep hold of the striker.
Well that's all from me tonight, I'll now pass over to Chris O'Keefe who will be with you until the close of play at 2am.
Cheers Dan! It's fair to say we've witnessed a busy day of transfer activity in the Premier League. Plenty of players holding up shirts, turning up at training grounds, waving to fans on the pitch. Or, if you're Samuel Eto'o, nodding one past your old team with the first touch.
What's left to happen between now and 2am? Stay with us and find out!
Stepping away from transfers briefly. Arsene Wenger has
leapt to the defence of Sir Alex Ferguson, saying that he is not to blame for the recent decline of Manchester United. Yes, you did read that correctly!
Wenger told The Mirror: "If things have not gone well at the start, it is not Ferguson's fault.
"The world is competitive and it is a bit cyclical. Once you leave a club, you hope it goes as well as possible. That is what Ferguson wanted as well. Manchester United have just started the season and it will come back."
Sticking with United, Tottenham Hotspur are
reportedly confident of taking Danny Welbeck on-loan to White Hart Lane. Welbeck has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford as new boss Louis van Gaal looks ot reshape the squad in his image.
While I have the chance, I must mention a story that first appeared on
Sports Mole this afternoon. Patrick Kluivert, he of winning goals in Champions League finals and once part of Louis van Gaal's coaching staff when he was in charge of the Netherlands, has been linked with the
vacant managerial post at, wait for it, Ross County.
Expect Dingwall to be the home of Total Football, if he takes charge!
Manchester City may have lost to Stoke City earlier today, but they could be
set to lose striker Alvaro Negredo. Real Madrid are reportedly pondering a bid for their former star, which could see the Spanish international return to the Bernabeu on-loan initially.
Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld is in demand, if reports are to be believed. The Belgian international is wanted by Newcastle United, but the Magpies are facing competition from, you guessed it, Sunderland.
However, Alderweireld is thought to be keen of playing European football this season and, with Monaco and Southampton also rumoured to be in the hunt for his signature, it may be a difficult deal for the Tyneside club to complete.
Meanwhile, another player on the move could be Manchester United's Adnan Januzaj. The young Belgian midfielder is concerned about
where he fits into the plans of new manager Louis van Gaal and is even reported to have kept his shirt after the thrashing against MK Dons, fearing it was his last game for the Red Devils.
Loic Remy has been in the news a lot today. Left out of the matchday squad for QPR, their manager then telling reporters that he was close to leaving for Chelsea. What next?
Well, it appears that Arsenal have made a last-ditch bid to sign the Frenchman ahead of the Blues, but official at Stamford Bridge are thought to remain confident of completing a transfer for the striker.
Well, Loic Remy's personal soap opera will just have to wait another day as we've reached the end of today's live
Transfer Talk. Fear not! Kristian Johnson will be back from 9am this morning to take you through all the latest news and moves from around planet football. Until then, good night!
