Halil Altintop has terminated his contract with Trabzonspor by mutual consent.
The 30-year-old Turkish international had one year left on his deal following a move from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2011.
However, the winger has now been released by the club.
Recent reports have suggested that Trabzonspor have failed to pay their players for the last three months amid financial troubles.
