Swindon Town striker Leon Clarke has moved to League One side Chesterfield on a three-month loan deal.
The move comes after Clarke was involved in a touchline bust-up with Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio after a Carling Cup loss to Southampton last month.
Footage of the incident showed Clarke refusing to go down the tunnel with the rest of the team before clashing with Di Canio and members of staff.
"Both manager and player are keen to put the matter behind them and move on and it is felt that this move is in the best interests of all parties," Swindon chairman Jeremy Wray told the club's official website.
"It goes without saying that the club remains fully confident in Leon's footballing ability - he remains a Swindon player although we obviously wish him every success in his time at Chesterfield."
Clarke joined Swindon last month from Queens Park Rangers but failed to score in four appearances.
