New Nottingham Forest striker Ishmael Miller has insisted that he has to prove that he has what it takes to score goals in the Championship.
Miller finalised his move to Tricky Trees today in a £1.2m deal from West Bromwich Albion.
The 24-year-old has struggled with injuries in recent seasons but believes that a move to Forest has revitalised his career.
"I have got a point to prove," Miller told the club's official website. "When I've played I think I've done well but I've had a few injury problems over the last few years and people tend to forget about you.
"I need to go out there and show what I can do.
"I know I've got the ability to play at the top level and I've come to Nottingham Forest to show people what I can do.
"I'm really excited to be a Forest player and I'm relishing the new challenge at this stage of my career."
Miller could make his debut for Steve McClaren's men at Doncaster Rovers tomorrow evening.
