Queens Park Rangers are understood to be interested in signing South African midfielder Daylon Claasen.
The 22-year-old, who currently plays for Belgian club Lierse, was scouted by manager Mark Hughes back in January.
However, the Premier League side are now ready to make a serious bid for the player, according to Sky Sports News.
Claasen has made seven international appearances for South Africa.
QPR have already made five signings this summer, with former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung the latest to arrive at Loftus Road.
