Two-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho is a "certainty" to join Angolan club Kabuscorp in the summer, according to the club's president.
The 34-year-old Brazilian is currently plying his trade with Mexican side Queretaro but will reportedly terminate his contract with them to move to Africa.
The former Barcelona playmaker is expected to follow compatriot Rivaldo in playing for Kabuscorp when the Mexican season ends later this year.
Kabuscorp president Benedict Kangamba told Public Television Angola: "It's a certainty. We are negotiating, but Ronaldinho has to terminate the contract with his current club, and then be able to join us in June.
"You may ask why I picked Ronaldinho - well, I want quality in my squad."
Ronaldinho has won two La Liga titles and the Champions League with Barcelona, the Serie A title with AC Milan and the 2002 World Cup with Brazil during his decorated career.
