Indian Super League side FC Pune City have completed the signings of English pair Steve Simonsen and Nicky Shorey.
Simonsen and Shorey, who have agreed one-season deals, have made the switch following their releases at the end of last term by Rangers and Portsmouth respectively.
"I am excited to be playing in India, I have tried to follow a few matches of last season and I am really looking forward to playing the ISL," full-back Shorey told the club's official website.
Goalkeeper Simonsen added: "I am extremely honoured to be playing for FC Pune City. I heard a lot about the ISL from friends who played last season and I'm looking forward to being part of the FC Pune City journey and hoping to bring in my expereince to win games and hearts together."
Pune are managed by former England international David Platt.
