Southampton are reportedly targeting Celtic keeper Fraser Forster and Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond as they attempt to reshape their squad ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Saints have a rebuilding job on their hands following the departures of Luke Shaw to Manchester United and Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and potentially Dejan Lovren to Liverpool.
Manager Ronald Koeman is said to be happy to stick to the club's philosophy of chasing ambitious English youngsters to play alongside academy products, according to the Daily Mail.
The South Coast club are understood to have already been rebuffed in initial attempts to sign both Forster and Redmond, though they will return for the pair with improved bids.
Koeman's first Premier League game will be against Liverpool on August 17.
