Hellas Verona have confirmed the capture of veteran striker Luca Toni on a one-year deal.
The 36-year-old spent last season with Fiorentina, scoring eight goals in 27 appearances.
Toni becomes the fifth summer signing for the newly-promoted Serie A side following the arrivals of Massimo Donati, Alejandro Gonzalez, Francesco Zampano, Filippo de Col and Daniele Borra.
"Hellas Verona have acquired the sporting rights of Luca Toni," read a statement on hellasverona.it. "The striker has signed a one-year contract."
Toni has scored 16 goals in 47 appearances for Italy.
