Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Hansa Rostock midfielder Kevin Pannewitz.
The controversial 20-year-old, who was suspended last season for alcohol abuse, has signed a two-year deal with the Bundesliga side.
"Kevin has the potential to play in the Bundesliga," Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath told the club's official website. "Unfortunately, he has not always dealt with his talent professionally in recent years.
"Now he's getting a second chance with us. I hope he makes good use of this in a new environment."
Pannewitz has moved to the Volkswagen Arena for an undisclosed fee.
