Valencia defender Jose Gaya has signed a new contract at the Mestalla until the summer of 2023.
Gaya's previous deal had been due to run until the end of the 2019-2020 campaign, but it was reported earlier this month that the left-back was nearing an extension.
Valencia have now confirmed that the 22-year-old, who has made 117 La Liga appearances for Los Che, has officially put pen to paper following the completion of the 2017-18 season.
Gaya has previously been strongly linked with Manchester United, and it is understood that the full-back rejected a host of interest to commit his future to Valencia.
The former Spanish champions also revealed that Gaya's release clause has now been raised to £87.7m.
