Robert Ibanez is reportedly on the verge of signing a new long-term deal at Valencia.
The 21-year-old has been with Los Che since 2000, but has only made four league appearances for the Spanish outfit.
That said, the Spaniard is highly regarded at the Mestalla and has been tipped to make the breakthrough over the second half of this season.
According to Super Deporte, both parties met on Monday to discuss the new deal, which is expected to run until the summer of 2018.
A number of clubs are reportedly keen on signing the attacker on loan.
