Rennes have reached the semi-finals of the Coupe de France with a 3-1 win at Valenciennes.
The visitors took an early lead when Jonathan Pitroipa struck after only 12 minutes.
However, Mamadou Samassa found the net after half an hour to draw the hosts level.
A turning point in the match came just before half time when Foued Kadir was shown a straight red card for his reckless challenge.
Rennes made use of their numerical advantage eight minutes into the second half when Pitroipa bagged his second goal of the match.
The win was sealed in the final five minutes as Youssouf Hadji caught Valenciennes cold to put his side through to the final four.
