Valenciennes defender Rudy Mater has admitted that he would like to spend the rest of his playing career with the Ligue 1 outfit.
Mater has spend the bulk of his career to date with the club, having joined from Cannes in 2002 after making just seven appearances for them.
The 32-year-old said that he has a good relationship with club president Jean-Raymond Legrand, which goes a long way to keep him happy.
"I'd rather finish my career at Valenciennes," Mater told L'Equipe.
"This is a president-player relationship, as we speak to each end of the season. We want the club to achieve survival as quickly as possible this season."
Mater has made 339 league appearances so far in his 11 years at the club.
